CLICK ON PIC AND IT SHOULD GET BIGGER!
Today was our first Dr appointment for the baby. So far I really like our doctor. He answered all my questions, no matter how small or silly they might have been. He also has a sense of humor about life in general. Perfect match for me and Ivan.
They tried to hear the baby's heart beat but it's still so little they didn't have any luck. Because I got pregnant so soon after the miscarriage they did take an ultrasound of the baby so they can look for the heart beat. Both Ivan and the Dr were able to see it beat. Me... not so much. But that's OK. I will when it gets bigger.
I had the first round of blood drawn today. The first of many I've been told. I think they took a dozen or so vials. They also gave us tons of paperwork to read through and a big giant book we're supposed to read. I think the nurse actually assigned me homework. I have to read chapters four and six before my next appointment with Dr. Davis.
We go in Thursday for the dating ultrasound. Where they determine exactly how far along I really am. As of now they are still putting the due date at September 10th. I still prefer to say that my due date is 9/9/09 because that can really happen!
The doctor also gave me some more vitamins and stuff to help with the nausea. I hope it helps..
